Martial Media needs You!

Darren Rowse over at Copyblogger is on to something.

In his latest post, he says to base your writing on the needs of your readers. This should be obvious, but it’s not.

People are vain, insecure creatures who write for themselves. I looked at my latest brainstorming session and noticed that every article was something I wanted to know about.

But does anyone else care?

Let’s face it, if I write simply for myself, this will quickly turn into a Jackie Chan fan page with a steady stream of Parkour demo videos.

Martial Media wants to hear from you!

Ask me your questions. Anything from martial arts movies, styles, fitness to history. Go nuts!

Tell me about your favourite resources. Let me know what blogs, online tools, magazines, logging/journal software, or whatever, you like best.

How to get in touch with me:

I’m everywhere, baby!

ALL of your comments and questions will become articles in the coming months.

  • Copyblogger is a pretty great site!

What's your take on Game of Death? Should they have pieced together the footage the way they did, or leave it buried?
  • I think with Game of Death, they should have left the fighting to Bruce and kept the stunt double for acting only. Mith giant aviator sunglasses.

In the beginning, they seem to be trying their best to use every Lee shot they have, and then they get lazy.

Cut and paste Lee's unmoving head onto film? Sure!

But, the fight scenes are what we watch it for, so as long as fans don't mind fast-forwarding, it's all good.
  • I'm very, very new to martial arts so I wouldn't know what to ask :)
  • But it's the people new to martial arts that I want to hear from the most!

Let me know if anything comes to mind.
